When you are next booking a flight ask yourself if you want to fly the airline that is transporting animal trophy corpses .
If your answer is a hearty ''NO!!!'' then vote with your wallet and book with another airline.
Currently airline after airline is banning trophy animal corpse cargo. (South African Airways, Lufthansa, Emirates are just 3 examples )
Despite a petition calling for Delta to stop transporting trophy hunting cargo that already has 339,295 signatures (at the time of writing this) Delta have dug their heels in . Delta released the following statement in response to a petition requesting that the company change its policy concerning the shipment of “exotic” animal hunting trophies:
'Delta accepts hunting trophies in accordance with all U.S. domestic and international regulations, which prohibits the possession of trophies or other items associated with protected species. Customers are required to produce detailed documentation of trophies to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials as their trophies undergo inspection.'
If Delta wish to cater to hunters rather than ethics then we guess only hunters should fly Delta, that would certainly underline the fact to Delta as profits plummet that there are MORE non hunters in this world than hunters.
